This is great, hugely important and practical. My only add is the communication piece. Govt must be SEEN to be working by the electorate. This is a huge challenge for Labour in a right-wing corporate media dominated environment and a social media ecosystem which favours disinformation and division.

Starmer needs to radically innovate around his comms strategy imho.

Interesting and helpful. When we looked at transferring learning at scale in education the depth of the change emerged as critical too. Without that missions can move deck chairs but shirk fundamentals. That's why I like the framing of opportunity.

Wondering though whether the number of established figures from the previous government really represents the best talent for a new mission?

Also seems important to me that strategic communicators include catching people out being good/success stories in their repertoire. Something Trump does a lot of your piece on his approach to communication
